It is reported that the Halawata police found a 49-year-old man who had fallen to the ground and died in a house in Halawatha – Kokkawila area yesterday (14).
Earlier, his son had submitted a complaint to the police that the deceased was suffering from a mental disorder, and the post-mortem examination conducted by Halawata Hospital revealed that the deceased had a cut wound on his neck.
Therefore, the forensic officer has declared that this death is a suspicious death and it is reported that the Halawata Police will carry out further investigations regarding the death.
