It is reported that the efforts taken by Sri Lanka to restore the mangrove ecosystems have been praised by the United Nations.
Accordingly, Sri Lanka has been designated as a “United Nations World Restoration Priority” for the effort to build mangrove ecosystems in the country.
Sri Lanka announced this victory today (13) at 11:30 Sri Lanka time in Geneva.
It is stated that this award has reflected that Sri Lanka has effectively used the principles of the United Nations for the restoration of ecosystems.
