According to the information received by the Mahawa Police, it is reported that a dead body was found yesterday (17) in a house in the Konwewa area of Mahawa.
It is said that this person died at his home and the deceased’s wife and child were not in the house at the time of the spill.
It is reported that the deceased is a 37-year-old resident of Kattambuawa area.
The dead body has been deposited in the Kurunegala hospital and the cause of death has not yet been revealed. The Mahawa police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
