It is reported that an ex-army soldier who was wanted for the killing of a butcher shop owner in Mahaba and many other crimes has died in a clash with the Police Special Task Force in Suriyawewa area.

On the morning of the 21st, two unknown gunmen who came on a motorcycle opened fire, where a butcher shop owner, 42-year-old Don Sujith alias Ukukwa, a resident of Ja Ala North Batagama area, lost his life.

The person who died in a clash with the Police Special Task Force has been identified as the person who acted as the motorcyclist for the related murder.

It was later revealed that the murdered Ukkuwa is the husband of the criminal’s sister named “Welle Saranga” who is hiding abroad.

Earlier, the police had also informed the deceased not to come to the shop due to the fact that he had received death threats from another criminal, Dubai Nipuna Namatta, who is considered to be a rival of “Welle Saranga”.

It is also reported that “Welle Saranga” has informed about it.

As a result, it is reported that a police signature book was also kept in the relevant shop.

In such a background, the person who was killed had been threatened with death by the party of Dubai Nipun.
