It is reported that a young man who went to bathe in Ma Oya in Kotadeniya – Varadala area has drowned.
The police said that the incident was reported yesterday afternoon (17).
A 21-year-old resident of Thalammahera-Pannala area has died.
It is said that the deceased had come to spray a well of a relative’s house and had finished the work and had gone to bathe in the stream when the accident occurred.
Kotadeniya Police are conducting further investigations regarding the incident.
