It is reported that the 37th Asia Pacific Regional Conference of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization will begin today (19) in Colombo.
It is said that representatives of 42 countries in the Asia Pacific region are going to participate in the conference.
The Ministry of Agriculture stated that more than 300 people including agriculture ministers, deputy ministers and officials from 35 countries will participate.
The conference, which starts today, is scheduled to be held until the 22nd.
It is said that a group of high-ranking officials, including the Director General of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization, Qiu Dongyu, will also join the conference.
