It is reported that steps have been taken to integrate Suvasarya ambulance service with AI technology.
Accordingly, the previous method of connecting the patient and the doctor in the ambulance with the telephone, and under the new method, the patient and the doctor are seen very closely and the diagnosis of the patient can be obtained very quickly. Also, to refer the patient to the nearest hospital according to the condition of the patient and the necessary treatment. Through this it is possible and it is more convenient.
Dr. Harsha De Silva, Member of Parliament, who spoke at the occasion of this introduction,
“1990 Suvasarya reached a unique juncture today. That is, for the first time in the Asian region, an ambulance service uses mixed reality and AI technology to integrate the ambulance with its doctor.
Previously, this integration was done over the phone. Due to this, the mission to save lives in Suvasari is getting stronger. I would like to thank the Wavenet company that has joined hands with Suvasarya for this, and the Microsoft company that provides technical support.
It is hoped that this will be implemented as a pilot project in Colombo and Jaffna districts first and then spread throughout the island. In the meantime, Minister Ramesh Pathirana mentioned that he will fulfill my request to give living expenses allowance of 10,000 to Suvasarya employees as well.
I pay tribute to Mr. Dumindra Ratnayake, Mr. Sohan de Silva, Chief Executive Officer of Suvasarya, who volunteered to lead the Suvasarya operation in 1990, and to the staff and the board of directors, who dedicate themselves day and night and render great service for the country.
