It is reported that 7 of the 11 incubators in the children’s unit of the Ambilipitiya District General Hospital are out of order, and the patients coming for treatment are in dire straits.
A large section of the population is suffering from the inability to provide adequate services due to the severe inactivity of the premature baby unit of the hospital.
