Presidential Senior Adviser on National Security and Chief of Presidential Staff Sagala Ratnayake says that the initial report of the committee appointed for the program for the re-release of lands taken over by the security forces during the war has been received.
He said that a large amount of land in areas like Jaffna, Kilinochchi and Mullaitivu were taken over by the security forces.
He has also said that there are about 5000 acres of land that should be returned in those districts.
