It is reported that the People’s Bank issued an announcement that no government agency has made a direct or indirect request to close the accounts belonging to the government institutions currently maintained by the People’s Bank. Also, it has been mentioned in the announcement that no instructions were given for such an activity.
Also, the marketing department of the People’s Bank stated that they are committed to providing excellent service and that the People’s Bank is a bank that works for the local betterment, not for the purpose.
