ANURA KUMAR TO INDIA.

It is reported that four people, including the leader of the National People’s Force, Anura Kumara Dissanayake, have left for a visit to India.

According to an invitation of the Indian government, this visit is reported.

Member of Parliament Vijitha Herath and two others have left for New Delhi early today (05).

The National People’s Party was originally built on the Janata Vimukthi Peramuna, which had earlier followed an anti-India policy.

At the time of the Indo-Ceylon Peace Agreement, the Janata Vimukti Peramuna openly worked against it and led an ideology against Indian expansionism.

The Janata Vimukthi Peramuna had also protested the introduction of the provincial council system in Sri Lanka through the 13th constitutional amendment, which was added to the constitution with India’s intervention.

It is reported that during the five classes conducted for the recruitment of members to his party, he was taught about Indian expansionism.

However, Janata Vimukthi Peramuna leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake had previously stated that the National People’s Force is ready to deal with India with a good vision.

Anura Kumara Dissanayake has decided to run as a candidate in the upcoming presidential election.
