It is reported that a brothel in Vavuniya city was raided last night (24th) and four people including three women were arrested.
It is said that this group was arrested during a raid conducted on the basis of information received by the police that a brothel was being run at that place.
It is reported that the arrested suspects are between the ages of 30-33 and reside in Bakamoona, Elahera areas, and the suspect who worked as a manager is a 40-year-old person.
It is stated that at the time of the arrest of the suspects, twelve national identity cards of other persons were found in their possession and the arrested suspects are scheduled to be presented to the Vavuniya Magistrate’s Court today (25).
