It is stated that the Colombo Magistrate’s Court has ordered the extension of the travel ban imposed on former Central Bank Governor Ajith Nivard Cabral.
It is reported that Colombo Additional Magistrate Mr. Harshana Kekunawala extended this travel ban when he heard the case related to the complaint filed by Mr. Keerthi Tennakoon against former Central Bank Governor Ajith Nivard Cabral.
The travel ban is said to be in effect until April 6.
The complainant alleges that Mr. Cabral misappropriated money during his tenure as Governor of the Central Bank.
