It is reported that the police have announced that 793 people involved in crimes have been identified through CCTV footage in Colombo city during the last 15 days of this month.
Police Media Spokesman DIG Nihal Talduwa said that about 300 police stations have been informed to take necessary action against the relevant offenders.
DIG Nihal Talduwa, Police Media Spokesperson, has mentioned that about 26,000 cases related to drunken driving have been reported in 2023.
