Yesterday evening (04) it is reported that a sudden fire broke out in a pine plantation in the forested area of Haguranketha Udawatta.
It is said that around 10 acres of land has been destroyed by the fire and no loss of life or property has been reported.
The fire has been extinguished and the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
It is reported that Haguranketha police are conducting further investigations in this regard.
