Colombo contributes the most to the country’s GDP.

According to the Central Bank reports, the Western Province has made the highest contribution to the Gross Domestic Product according to the provinces.
In the last year, its value has been stated as 42.6% according to the gross domestic product.
Also, the North-West Province contributed 11.1% and the Central Province 10.1%.
