Coming to the opposition from the bud

Today (31) in Parliament, a group of members of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna have decided to sit in the opposition as an independent party.
Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna Member of Parliament Prof. G. L. Peiris has announced this in a special statement in Parliament today.
Thus, Prof. G. L. Peiris, Dallas Alahapperuma, Prof. Channa Jayasumana, Prof. Charita Herath, Dr. Nalaka Godaheva, Mahacharya Gunapala Rathnasekera, Dylan Perera, Udayana Kirindigoda, Wasantha Yapa Bandara, Dr. Upul Galappatti, Dr. Tilak Rajapaksa, K.P. The 13 MLAs S. Kumarasiri and Lalith Ellawala will work independently from today.
