DEEP JUNGLE FESTIVAL LOST 338 LAKHS

A lot of hidden information about the Deep Jungle Festival, which had to be stopped on the way due to an injunction from above, was revealed by Mr. Sumudu Saman, the owner of ‘Deep Jungle Entertainment’, in a press conference of veteran journalist Mr. Chamuditha Samarawickrama.

The owner of Deep Jungle Entertainment stated that this project was to be held in Habarana for 3 days, and this was a combination of music, culture and art, and the largest pandal built in history was to be presented, and 2500-3000 tourists for these three days. He further stated that such programs are necessary for the tourism industry to move forward successfully.

Further, he stated that for this program, the President’s Secretary, the Directorate of Forest Sites Office, Wildlife Conservation, the Regional Office of the Chief Secretary, etc., have received permission from the relevant institutions, but this program, which was supposed to cost 338 lakhs, was stopped midway due to a last-minute injunction. What had to be done was that the duties of the government agencies which gave the permission were not fulfilled properly.
