President Ranil Wickremesinghe has announced several high security zones in the Colombo district through an extraordinary gazette announcement.
Parliament complex and surrounding areas, Supreme Court and surrounding areas, Presidential Secretariat, Presidential Palace, Navy Headquarters, Police Headquarters, Akuregoda Defense Ministry and Army Headquarters, Kompanjaveediya Air Force Headquarters, Malpara Prime Minister’s Office, Kollupitiya Temple area, Areas where the quarters of the Defense Secretary and the Commanders of the Armed Forces are located are designated as High Security Zones.
