Dhammika Perera, popularly known as Kunu Dhammika, is due to be sworn in as a Member of Parliament today.
The Supreme Court yesterday decided to dismiss the petitions challenging his appointment without hearing them.
Meanwhile, according to the National Consumer Price Index, inflation in May rose to 45.3%, with annual food inflation at 58% and non-food inflation at 34.2%.
