It is reported that Dimuth Karunaratne, the captain of the Sri Lankan Test team, has been included in the Sri Lankan initial squad named to participate in the one-day World Cup qualification tournament that will begin next June.
It is said that the reason for this is that Kusal Janith Perera, who was included in the initial squad of 30 named earlier, has not fully recovered from his injury.
It is also reported that although Dimuth Karunaratne has been added to the initial squad, Kusal Perera has not been completely removed from the initial squad.
