It is reported that the Government Medical Officers Association (GMOA) has announced that the doctors of hospitals in many districts across the country will hold a series of silent protests today (12).
It is said that this protest is scheduled to be held demanding solutions for the impact caused by doctors leaving the country.
Dr. Chamil Wijesinghe, the spokesperson of the Government Medical Officers’ Association, says that the series of protests will be held so that the treatment services of the hospital will not be affected.
This series of protests will be held from 12.00 noon to 2.00 pm.
