It is reported that in relation to the local government elections, no printing of any documents including ballot papers will be done stating the dates of voting.
A spokeswoman has stated that a case regarding the holding of the election is currently being heard in the Supreme Court, so the work related to the election will not be carried out until the decision is received.
It has been stated that currently the printing press is only printing documents that can be used in the conduct of elections, and that the printing press will also have to fulfill its tasks after receiving the money according to the instructions given by the government to get the money spent on the services of the government institutions in advance.
It is also said that about 200 million rupees will be spent on the printing of election documents alone.
