It is reported that today (27) the electrical workers are engaged in a union action to take sick leave based on several issues including the unfair tax policy and the increase in the electricity bill.
According to reports, Mr. Malaka Wickramasinghe, President of the Ceylon Electrical Professional Association, has announced that electrical workers from all over the island will be invited to Colombo to participate in a protest.
