It is reported that a person has been arrested yesterday (24th) in Horana, Malberiwatta area who assaulted his father and seriously injured him.
The person who was injured in the attack is a person who is heavily addicted to drugs and he came drunk and during a fight with the suspect’s son, the son hit the father with a stick.
The suspect’s son is scheduled to be presented to the Horana Magistrate’s Court and further investigations are being carried out by the Moragahahena Police.
