Yesterday (14th) it is reported that a person lost his life in an accident where a three-wheeler collided with a bus at Kohombagahapalassa area on the Tissamaharama-Kataragama main road.
Asela Indrajith, a 47-year-old father of two, died in the accident, police said.
The accident occurred when the three-wheeler that came at high speed hit a buffalo on the road and hit the bus that came in front of it.
It is said that the tricycle belonging to the owner of the cows on the road has been involved in an accident and it is transporting milk.
The police have arrested the driver of the bus in connection with the accident and the Tissamaharama police are conducting further investigations.
