It is reported that the Ministry’s final proposal on the views and proposals of the Health Trade Union Alliance is scheduled to be presented on the 28th.
The special committee appointed to consider the proposals of the Alliance of Health Trade Unions met at the Ministry of Health yesterday (20) under the chairmanship of the Health Secretary, Dr. Palitha Mahipala.
Accordingly, it is said that the proposal is also scheduled to be presented to this special committee on the 28th at 3 pm.
The Alliance of Health Trade Unions had requested the Minister of Health and Industry Dr. Ramesh Pathirana to take steps to appoint a special committee to find solutions to their professional problems.
Accordingly, the Ministry of Health has stated that it has taken steps to appoint the relevant committee based on the recommendations of the Minister.
Speaking to the media after the discussion, Mr. Ravi Kumudesh, President of the Association of Medical Laboratory Scholars, stated that his proposals were basically agreed upon.
Mr. Sudath Jayasiri, the National Organizer of the Government Nursing Officers Association, said that he believes that the decision taken has been implemented promptly.
