It is reported that the All Ceylon Bakeries Association has announced that if the price of gas decreases, it will focus on reducing the price of bakery products including bread.
Bakery owners use gas and firewood for their production activities and in view of this situation, the president of the association, Mr. NK Jayawardena, has stated that his association will meet in the near future and take a decision.
