According to the report, Nadun Chinthaka Wickramaratne alias Harak Kata, who is in custody, has filed a writ petition before the Supreme Court requesting that his lawyers secure his life.
It is said that he is being held under the Criminal Investigation Department on the orders of detention.
It has been pointed out in the petition that even now there has been a serious life-threatening situation for his life.
It is reported that the respondents in the petition filed by him are the officers of the Criminal Investigation Department, the Inspector General of Police and the Deputy Inspector General of Western Province.
