It is reported that a close follower of Harakkata, who is considered to be a criminal gang leader, has been arrested in Tihagoda area with heroin by the police special task force officers.
Police Special Task Force officers have stated that 15 grams and 100 milligrams of heroin were seized from his possession.
It is reported that the arrested person is involved in many crimes and a case is pending against him in the Matara Magistrate Court.
