Today (11) there may be rain or thundershowers at few places in North, North Central, Eastern and Uva provinces during evening or night.
The Department of Meteorology has predicted that there may be rain in the morning in the North-West Province and Mannar and Jaffna districts.
Also, several rainy seasons may occur in Western, Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces and Galle and Matara districts.
Apart from that, the Department of Meteorology kindly requests the people to take necessary measures to reduce the dangers caused by temporary strong winds and lightning that may occur with thunderstorms.
