It is reported that Central Bank Governor Mr. Nandalal Weerasinghe said that there will be a change in inflation due to the upcoming 2024 budget and the increase in the price of global petroleum market.
He mentions that the Central Bank of Sri Lanka and the Government have reached an agreement to keep inflation in the country at 5% in the future, and it has been decided according to the new Central Bank of Sri Lanka Act.
