It is reported that the party chairman, Member of Parliament Vajira Abeywardena, will call a party conference next August to make a new constitution of the United National Party so that all parties can join the United National Party in order to suit the new world.
Also, if any party wants to overthrow the country, the United National Party should overthrow the UNP. Even though the country fell because of the fall of the U.N.P. The minister has further mentioned that the leader has come forward for the nation and because of that the country was able to recover.
