It is reported that Mr. Kabir Hashim, Kegalle District Councilor of Samagi Janabalawega stated in Parliament that the IMF conditions are a godsend when compared to the damage done to the country by some rulers, and that the conditions of the financial fund are to stop giving tax concessions to foreigners.
Also Mr. Kabir Hashim has further mentioned that the country does not get any income from the Shangila Hotel which was given to foreigners with tax concessions, and even the Mannar wind power plant was given to Adani without any procurement activities, and these actions are national crimes.
