Investigations to find those bringing drugs to Sripada.

A special operation has been started there to find and arrest the intoxicated people who bring drugs, apart from the devotees who come for the Sripada Vandana season which started last Unduwap Pun Poho day.
This operation was started yesterday (09) by the Hatton Division Anti-Corruption Unit and three people were arrested yesterday (09) which is the starting day.
It is reported that the three arrested persons were in possession of ganja and illegally imported cigarettes and the suspects are three youths between the ages of 20 and 30.
Our elderly grandfathers and grandmothers prepare to worship Sripadasthana after abstaining from eating meat and fish for a week. A part of the elderly community today also follows these customs. We don’t see any going to take.
It is implied from the articles circulating in the social media that many young people are going to Sripada Vandana as a fashion. However, Buddhists should never come to Sripada with drugs.
The most sacred Buddhist shrine after the Buddha, which is the crown of the Buddha, is this Sri Pada Kanda, where the Lord Buddha’s feet touched.
It is a fact that any unscrupulous person can understand how despicable it is for such people to bring drugs to such a holy place.
