The police have stated that the dead body was found yesterday (25) on the basis of information received by the police in Katugastota Kuda Rathwatta area of Mahaweli.
The police have stated that the deceased is between 40 and 50 years old.
It is reported that the dead body has been deposited in the Kandy Hospital mortuary.
