It is reported that today (3rd) President Ranil Wickremesinghe presented the “Sri Lanka Bhimanya Award” for the year 2023 on the occasion of Independence Day in appreciation of the work of Mr. Deshabandu Karu Jayasuriya at the Presidential Palace.
It is stated that the cabinet approved to present this award to Mr. Jayasuriya, who was a member of Deshabandu Karu.
