It is reported that a woman has lost her life in a car accident that took place in the Kaudupalella area of the Dambulla-Matale main road yesterday (11th) night.
The motorcyclist who was injured in the accident and the 4-year-old child who was traveling on the motorcycle died while being admitted to the Matale hospital.
A 33-year-old resident of Palliyawatta, Mahawela has lost her life.
The police say that the accident occurred when a motorcycle coming from a side road in Kaudupalella area collided with a bus traveling from Anuradhapura towards Kandy while trying to enter the main road.
The body has been deposited at the Matale Hospital and the Mahawela Police is conducting further investigations.
