Lanka Sathosa Institute is doing several price reductions during the festive season.
Accordingly, Lanka Sathosa has worked to lower the prices of 07 types of goods and from today (23) white sugar, imported potatoes, big onions, red lentils, tinned fish, chillies and halibut are among them.
According to this price reduction, the price of 01 kg of red lentils has been reduced by Rs.11 and its new price is Rs.374.
The price of white sugar has also been reduced by Rs.04 and its new price is Rs.220.
The price of a kilo of big onion has been reduced by Rs.05 and accordingly the revised new price is Rs.185.
The price of a 425 gram tin of salmon has been reduced by Rs.15 and the new price is Rs.475.
Also, the price of 01 kg of chili has been reduced by Rs.15 and its new price was recorded as Rs.1780.
Meanwhile, the price of a kilogram of rice flies has also been reduced by Rs.50 and its new price was recorded as Rs.1100.
