The Department of Export Agriculture announced that last year’s export income from the export of spices and related products was 455 million dollars. Out of that income, the highest export income was obtained from cinnamon. That income is said to be 217 million dollars.
It is also reported that 58,192 metric tons of spices such as cinnamon, pepper, coffee, cloves, nutmeg etc. were exported last year.
