Sajaba Member of Parliament Dr. Harsha De Silva said that some people in the government were ready to remove him from the Parliament’s Finance Committee while investigating the Gal Aguru scam.
“In the beginning, those people showed their great strength and suspended the standing orders and appointed one of them… Can’t play again… I am also being presented by the opposition. let’s crash”
He pointed out that the government tried to kick him out of the finance committee when he was found in connection with several other frauds and corruptions.
However, he said that the position of chairman of the finance committee should be given to the opposition.
