It is reported that the ruler of Johor, Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar, has been sworn in as the new king of Malaysia.
Accordingly, foreign media have reported that he has become the 17th king of Malaysia.
The statehood ceremony was held today (31) and Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim and others were present.
Foreign reports have further stated that Sultan Ibrahim Iskandar is the second ruler from the southern state of Malaysia.
