Minister Kanchana says that the electrical engineers lied.

The Minister of Power and Energy Mr. Kanchana Wijesekera stated that the statement made by the electrical engineers that there will be a 10-hour power cut due to the coal shortage is false.
The minister also mentioned that legal and disciplinary action will be taken against them.
Also, the minister further mentioned that electricity will not be cut on 24th, 25th, 31st of December as well as on 1st of January.
