It is reported that the mother-in-law was taken to the hospital after being beaten by her daughter-in-law until her broom broke.
The two lived in the same house and due to an argument, the daughter-in-law took the broom from the kitchen and beat the mother-in-law until it broke. It is said that due to this assault, the bones of the mother-in-law’s right hand have been seriously broken. Later, she was admitted to Vatupitivala Roha for treatment and was discharged from the hospital after receiving treatment.
Later, according to a complaint made regarding the incident, the daughter-in-law was arrested.
