Yesterday (02) around 9.30 pm in front of the IOC petrol station in Wariyapola town, MP Jayaratne Herath’s Defender car collided with a small lorry. It is reported that five people traveling in the lorry and the MP’s driver were injured and admitted to Wariya Hospital.
It is said that the accident occurred due to the high speed of the Defender car in which the MP was traveling.
