NEW DIGS ARE APPOINTED FOR TWO POSTS.

JPD Jayasinghe, who was acting DIG in charge of the Police Narcotics Bureau, has been appointed to fill the vacancy caused by the retirement of DIG Nimal Perera, who was in charge of the Presidential Security District, and the Deputy in charge of Criminal Investigations to oversee the work of the Narcotics Bureau. It is reported that the Inspector General of Police has been appointed.
