OPEN BANKS ON SATURDAY, SUNDAY FOR “CONSOLATION” – INSTRUCTIONS FROM PRIME MINISTER.

Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena has requested that arrangements be made to open bank accounts on Saturdays and Sundays in order to receive the benefits decided to be given by the government to the poor people through public assistance banks and to make arrangements to get the services of office workers so that the people will not be inconvenienced.
It is reported that instructions have been given to the divisional secretary.
