The approval of the Minister of Sports for the Sri Lankan cricket team to participate in the tour of India has not yet been received from the Minister of Sports.
Sri Lanka Cricket also mentioned that the nominated cricket squad was forwarded for approval on the 25th.
He is scheduled to leave the island on the 31st for the T20I and ODI tournaments scheduled to begin on January 3rd.
Although the squad has not been approved yet, the squad scheduled to participate has started training at the R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium in Colombo.
