It is reported that Kalutara Division Criminal Investigation Unit has arrested two persons involved in many house burglaries in Payagala area along with a stock of goods worth nearly fifty lakh rupees.
Two people aged 23 and 19 years old residing in Payagala, Maitiyawatta and Vahagoda areas have been arrested and they have stolen 55 TV sets, a washing machine, two electric fans, two grinders, a gas stove, a set of bodybuilding equipment, etc. It is reported that all the goods have been seized by the police and the suspects are to be produced before the Kalutara Magistrate’s Court.
