It is reported that the foreign exchange income of the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation has increased significantly.
A spokesman has said that the latest income reports have revealed that the corporation’s dollar income has increased compared to last year.
It is said that there has been a remarkable growth in the revenue earned through the process of supplying fuel to the ships and it has been the main reason for the increase in dollar revenue of the corporation.
In addition, it is reported that the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation has earned significant income through the export of wood oil in the past.
Meanwhile, Minister of State for Finance Ranjith Siyambalapitiya has said that the fuel price formula will be implemented based on the expenses incurred by the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation in accordance with the conditions of the world market.
